RL: Please tell us about yourself?
VH: My name is Victoria and for my final project in my CSM foundation I decided to create a body of work which aimed to advocate the use of a Universal language.
RL: Please tell us about your design?
VH: Using a range of techniques, I had learned throughout the Graphic design pathway, I created a National identity for the language of Esperanto.
Esperanto is a language made up of elements of other languages in an aim to be recognisable by a wide range of people. My laser cut design is my reimagination of the already existing flag.
RL: What do you like about laser cutting and the material/s you used?
VH: The use of the laser cutter was successful in etching a compatible design into fabric which will give Esperantists a form of identity.
RL: What made you choose RazorLAB?
VH: Razorlab was extremely helpful when deciding upon size and scale within my work.
Their customer service chat rooms were extremely well run with fast response which is very helpful for students and clients in need of work by a deadline.
