RL: Please tell us about yourself?

AS: We are ArC instruments ltd., a company specialising in building scientific instrumentation for multi-port measurement and testing.

We started by making instruments for academic and industrial researchers in the field of nanoengineered memories, but are branching out to generalised testing of large microchips such as data converters, complex amplifiers and especially custom-made ASICs, eliminating the need for designing a test PCB or buying a bespoke development board.

RL: Please tell us about your work?

AS: Our product line consists of the “ArC” series of instruments. Currently ArC 1 is on sale and provides pseudo-parallel access to microchips of up to 33 ports. ArC 2 is about to launch with true-parallel access to microchips of up to 128 ports.

RL: What do you like about laser cutting and the material/s you used?

AS: Laser cutting on acrylic was the perfect solution for us because it allowed us to create complicated and custom-made shapes for our instrument covers, including labels and our company logo.

RL: What made you choose RazorLAB?

AS: RazorLAB has a slick and simple to use website, prices are reasonable and it is easy to re-order without the hassle of re-uploading everything and going through exceedingly many steps.

RL: Where can we see your work?

AS: Be sure to check out our website.
